The Made in Japan Yonex Astrox 88D badminton rackets are specially designed for the dominant player of a doubles pair.  The Astrox 88D rackets are designed to flex at the center of the head frame, delivering explosive power to the smashes. The 10mm longer frame of Astrox 88D allows greater reach and steeper angles for the players playing from the back of the court. 

Astrox 88D has also utilised the revolutionary graphite 'Namd' in the frame. In Namd, nanomaterials are directly adhered to the graphite fibres and the degree of adhesion between graphite fibres and resin is greatly increased. This major improvement produces a shaft that flexes and stores energy, delivering explosive force on impact with the shuttle.

The Astrox series rackets uses the revolutionary Rotational Generator system which uses the counter balance theory to allow players prepare for the next shot without losing the force and control of the stroke.
